Doodle Away

Edgar-Loo-doodle

Today was my day for tuning into CreativeLive for the free Illustrator lesson. I did learn a lot and refreshed my mind from years ago when I first took the course. As my mind began to wonder and after sitting on my butt for several hours, I began to doodle in Illustrator.

My lovely creature formed as the teacher showed tips and tricks. I named him Edgar Loo, have no idea why, it just popped into my head. I’m thinking he might become my new muse for writing.

Happy writing everyone!

  1. Once again, you impress me. I would love to learn how to create through an illustrator program, but I simply don’t have time for anything new right now. Edgar Loo is very cool, and I definitely think you should keep him as a muse. 😉

    • Thank you. I have a long way to go though. It is mostly fun. 🙂 So much to learn. It is kinda of my down time. I began editing my book and I think it might just take longer than the month of June. We will see.

  2. I like that character too. Edgar Loo is inspirational, keep the muse and the name. I have a monkey that I call Nerk, don’t know where that name came from either. Nerk has a sister called Nerkette and a cousin called Cousin Nocchi. My husband has been using the monkeys as teaching tools for a while. Nerk is naughty. He gets into mischief and stirs Nerkette. Cousin Nocchi (who is strong) comes to her aid.

  3. thanks for spending time at artcalling, and for liking posts and following. I’m glad it spoke to you.
Great Illustrator doodle, I use it myself but don’t get a fraction as much out of it as I can. I learned it from the Adobe instruction book, doing most of the tutorials.
I enjoy your creativity on this site, and how much fun you are having!
