365 Questions 5 Years 1,825 Answers…Journal Away

I don’t know why I didn’t think of this when I began this blog, but now a bright light has went off in my head. Unbelievable uh. 🙂 I bought a neat 5 Year Journal last year that asks question everyday of the year for 5 years. It is neat now to see what I wrote last year compared to this year. I have to admit I didn’t always remember to write on that day last year. I sometimes had to go back and remember or think of something. I will try harder to remember this next half of a year. Wow, half the year is gone already.

Of course, I won’t do it everyday and blog down your emails or screen but maybe keep with my weekly blog.

I bought it thinking it might give me some writing material. I was thinking more of for my novels but hey this works. It is like having a daily prompt!

summer fun 015

Begin with July 1st:
Question: Water, Ice, or steam?
Response year 2012: Water, good to drink, good to play in. Need it for everything.
Year 2013: Water still! If I ever get to the lake or pool! 🙂 I’m drinking way more water this year! Feel a lot better! Now live where it rains more!

July 2nd:
Question: Today you cancelled…….
Response year 2012: My thoughts, don’t want to think right now.
Year 2013: Facebook. I made myself stay off so I could edit my novel#1. One more chapter and partial of another! 🙂

July 3rd:
Question: What was the last beach you went to?
Response year 2012: Too long ago. I don’t remember. Haven’t made the pool or lake once this year. Bummer.
Year 2013: Milford Lake in early May. Terrible I haven’t been back yet. 4 miles away. Makes me sad. Lazy? Fatness? Heat? Who knows why. 🙁

If you would like to play along, answer the questions in the comments. 🙂 Look forward to hearing them. Have a Happy 4th of July everyone!

What a nifty journal! I’ve been drinking only water for a month now, and am so glad I finally put the cola monster behind me. I don’t even know when the last time I was to the beach. I haven’t put a bathing suit on for years, and I don’t wear shorts – ever! I have the whitest legs in the world! 🙂

I think I got it through Amazon. 🙂 I still have a pepsi, can’t seem to shake that, but at least I drink more water now. I do like to wear shorts, but definitely need to exercise some more, way more. 🙂 I bought your second book! 🙂 I hope to read it soon! 🙂

You are so sweet to buy my next book. Thank you!! You know I’m first in line (after relatives ;-)) to buy yours!

I haven’t started exercising yet. I always like to lose some weight first and let my body ease into it. I have been more active around the house though. I definitely see an increase in energy, and I need less sleep. I think the water really helps with that.

Have a wonderful 4th! Hubby is working on a deck, and I’m writing all day.

🙂 I go to the Y a few times a week but missed this week. We will be going on a camping trip so surely there will be exercise there! LOL. I think water definitely increases the energy level, I have found that out. We had a good 4th was able to spend at least a day with all four kids, not all together but at least we did. Enjoy that deck! 🙂 Great writing place. 🙂

I know this is from July, but how was your New Years? I watched the fireworks off of Pikes Peak all….alone. P Oh well! It was nice though. Never, ever saw fireworks shot from on top of a mountain. Very pretty.

New Years was good. All kids out of house. Hubby and I pigged out on shrimp and watched a movie. Fireworks would be cool in the mountains.

I miss eating shrimp and crab cakes. I’ve had them all my life until one day I woke up and suddenly I was allergic to shellfish, can you believe that? My throat gets tight when I eat it, it’s difficult to swallow. 🙁 I miss eating salmon too. 🙁 The fireworks were cool, I’m still in awe of what I saw that night.

Oh that would suck. Love seafood but don’t eat too often because my boys don’t like it. Bummer. So far no food allergies for me.
