Decided the blog needed a new look.  🙂

A work in progress, but so far I am liking it.

It has been a hot last few weeks around here. Today we are finally getting some good rain. I hope it cools things down. Our grass is starting to turn brown.  😦

Oh, the A/C is running nonstop lately even with it on 80 degrees!

All the flowers I planted are done and gone. I do not have a green thumb. I am sure I will keep trying though.  LOL

I have not read or wrote lately. I had goals this summer to get a lot done there. Darn it. I have had some fun with the family so that is ok.

I did start a new part-time job working at home. I have been enjoying that. I am still figuring out the schedule. When you can do it anytime during the day that makes for chaos at times.

I am a HUGE procrastinator!

Not a good combo when you want to get things done. A calendar and list helps but still too easy to put things off. The only thing I hate about the new job is having to take care of the self-employment taxes.

Ugh.

I’m not sure how long it will last. I’m a ‘independent consultant’, so no definite time frame. I work for a data company so whenever the business that hired them is done with us then the job is done. Or I do crappy.  😦  But so far so good. 🙂

I believe once school starts again it will be a bit easier. Right now, too easy to lay in bed or sleep in.  LOL

I am enjoying while I can is my theory.

Welp, I need to get to work! Good thing I don’t have to go too far. 🙂 Ah the perks.
