Oberlin Puzzle House (nickname)

I miss our backyard. Though these days it is nothing but grass weeds. lol This was in 2012. I worked on it for the oldest son’s graduation party. Fun.
Definitely no stepping stones anymore. i put them out front. Grass has grown over now.
Grass has overgrown it. The bottles were a sugar drink that the son drank.
Can’t even see the white rocks anymore.
The middle son’s tree from school. The only one we planted. lol It’s grown into a bush like tree.
Most is all grass now or rather weed grass. lol
No longer have the swing. Winds blew it many times so we threw it away. Miss swinging. The canopy is here in JC in the garage. Maybe someday put it up.

The driving on the road hubby did after army retirement kept us not coming back, and then the pandemic didn’t help any, and finally the last year and half my stroke really changed stuff. I like to take charge with stuff on my own and can’t now. I still have little use of one arm and slow energy. I hate it. But not giving up just less I can do. Changes things a lot. Won’t look like that anymore but glad I took pictures.

Stay in shape people because you may regret it. I do.

How do you feel about fast food?

I like fast food way too much. It’s more about an easy meal, don’t have to cook, and something to do. It’s more about entertainment than food. I like all variety. Mcdonald’s because there is a choice beef, chicken, fish and I love their pop. Arbys when I want roast beef. L0ve their onion rings and cheese sticks. Taco Bell for something light or in the mood for nachos. I love nachos!

2021—-

Things have changed. I can’t eat what I use to eat, no teeth, yet. Money has changed. I don’t work anymore and hubby changed jobs, less money but home at night now. Yay! I have to watch my cholestorol and blood pressure. So less fast food. I think after having a tube for feeding I lost interest. Weird. So many tastes have changed. I think for good. Plus most are by drive thru and lines long. Sucks for going out for eat in, because of covid, some places closed, sad. Lots of changes. Prices going up too. We try to come up with things at home which is good. 🙂

Spring Time Changes

I have stayed busy and consistent with editing every day for Camp NaNo! Makes me feel great! 🙂 I know another edit will need to be done after this challenge because there are some boring holes to fill. Oops.

I feel confident! I am energized to get er done! 🙂

I updated my blog as you can see. I think I really like it. It is clean and easy to read. I can change the colors easy as well. The header proved a challenge with my blog title but I finally found one. I think I will make me some for the next update now that I have my Illustrator program back. I love that Adobe does monthly subscriptions now. Though it does stink to pay for one program for almost the same price for the whole set but my computer graphics card can’t handle it. I do need to learn lots more on Illustrator so that is ok. I do miss Photoshop but maybe once I can upgrade the graphics then I can get all the programs again.

I did something I thought I would never do, I deactivated Facebook. I thought if I am going to get my HUGE list of things done I better do it. I feel rather good about it. I doubt I am missed. I didn’t have much interaction from people. I will miss other people’s updates but I must get things done. It was easy to pass an hour or two reading everyone’s. LOL.

I can hear “Lazy” the cat meowing so I better get out of the Creative Cave and give him some attention! I don’t allow the cats in here and it bothers them. Too much to knock over and “Emobear” loves to chew on PAPER! Go figure! LOL. My tummy is growling.

Have a splendid week!
