I am constantly rearranging my workspace in the Creative Cave. It seems I figure out what works and doesn’t work, or could it be I get bored with the layout.
🙂
I decided my old desk was not working for my creative inspiration.
I love the desk but it was blocking areas that could be used for more stuff. You know that crafting stuff that sits and never gets used.
🙂
I did not get rid of it, the youngest son is using it in the other room for his computer. Works good for him. Lots of room for his snacks which he ignores to take upstairs when we tell him to. Grumble.
I am very thankful that my hubby is handy with making things for me. I am constantly finding something for him to do for me. Sometimes he jumps right on it and other times he does that selective hearing you know.
🙂
Glad to say this time he got right to my request of building me a simple desk area.
🙂
Loving it!
I wanted to add some flare to it, so this is what I came up with.
I used the same duck tape that I used on my art table. It also covered up the screws that were used to put it together.
🙂
I have been using the desk for a few weeks now and I do believe I have accomplished more. It has lots more room to clutter up anyway.
🙂
It also gave the room a wide open area in the middle so I don’t feel closed in. Perhaps, I will do some exercising there. Perhaps….
🙂
Hubby gives me a hard time by saying I have the whole basement practically besides his man cave. Yep, pretty true. LOL
Eventually, stuff will be whittled down and then I won’t have so many areas. Technically, I have three creative caves.
You snooze you lose I tell him.
Do you have a woman cave or man cave?
