Spring Time Changes

I have stayed busy and consistent with editing every day for Camp NaNo! Makes me feel great! 🙂 I know another edit will need to be done after this challenge because there are some boring holes to fill. Oops.

I feel confident! I am energized to get er done! 🙂

I updated my blog as you can see. I think I really like it. It is clean and easy to read. I can change the colors easy as well. The header proved a challenge with my blog title but I finally found one. I think I will make me some for the next update now that I have my Illustrator program back. I love that Adobe does monthly subscriptions now. Though it does stink to pay for one program for almost the same price for the whole set but my computer graphics card can’t handle it. I do need to learn lots more on Illustrator so that is ok. I do miss Photoshop but maybe once I can upgrade the graphics then I can get all the programs again.

I did something I thought I would never do, I deactivated Facebook. I thought if I am going to get my HUGE list of things done I better do it. I feel rather good about it. I doubt I am missed. I didn’t have much interaction from people. I will miss other people’s updates but I must get things done. It was easy to pass an hour or two reading everyone’s. LOL.

I can hear “Lazy” the cat meowing so I better get out of the Creative Cave and give him some attention! I don’t allow the cats in here and it bothers them. Too much to knock over and “Emobear” loves to chew on PAPER! Go figure! LOL. My tummy is growling.

Have a splendid week!

Pondering More Changes

I have been busy with house and kid stuff lately so not much writing going on. Last weekend hubby and I painted and cleaned up the laundry room. It looks so much better. Here is a before picture. Hubby began painting.

20160227_154621It is rather narrow. The previous owners had spot painted where marks were and the paint did not match. It was a bit annoying to look at. Now it is a cool very light green. The color brightened it up from the tan! We had a wire shelf on the left side that got in the way of TALL people. LOL. Hubby kept hitting his head on it when he used the dryer. I didn’t have much problem though but it is nice having it gone.  Now, there is a nice shelf above the washer and dryer and we bought a pantry for all other items. I want to put my brooms and such in it but I can not get the pegs to come out to move the shelves. I need my he man hubby to do it. 🙂

I have not finished with the decorating so no finished picture but I will post when I get it done.

Also, in order for the washer and dryer to fit we needed to take out the trim work so we replaced it with nice white trim leading up to the appliances with a wooden end. It looks awesome! Picture to come soon!

My pondering mind has led me to finally delete my Facebook page. No one really read it and I stayed at the same numbers for years. I can utilize my time better actually writing. LOL. Where is that motivation? 🙂 It really is the pits that Facebook wants you to pay in order for all people to see it. I rather enjoy Twitter and Google+. I will concentrate more there. 🙂

What do you prefer for social media?

Happy BDay to Me!

Well, it’s my birthday. 🙂 A cold and snowy day. I guess it should be since it is February. 🙂

I decided to try something on Facebook this year. I hid my birthday so it wouldn’t remind others of the day just to see if anyone would. I am pleased that a small few have. It does prove though without those wonderful reminders, no one remembers. LOL… Sneaky Facebook.

I have all my peoples on lists, so I don’t forget something major. It makes things easier and quick to go through the newsfeed, at least on my computer.

Anyway, I am going to make some spaghetti for supper.

I have actually been sick for the last week with a nasty chest cold. I still don’t have my strength completely up but it is getting there. I can say this was the first time I had been sick in two years. I think that is pretty good. I have always been pretty healthy. I think with hubby’s upcoming retirement and the stress of figuring out where the next paycheck is coming from helped with the body not fighting that nasty cold.

I hope everyone has a lovely evening! We are in for more snow. Ugh. Where is Spring? 🙂
