Dimension of Color

I used a recycled piece of wood from hubby’s scrap pile. I sanded it and painted it with acrylic paint.

I colored the color page out of a book I have. I cut up into shapes.

The fun part was doing the quilling decorations. I am new at the quilling process. I love it. I hope to make many more with the quilling design. 🙂

I added the hanging bead work to the wood.

It is proudly hung on my living room wall. 🙂

Day 3 for the coloring challenge! I think this will be another photo background for an album. 🙂 #thedailymarker30day

I used Bic markers, yoobi color pencils, and fine tip Lepen markers that I bought at a book store. 🙂

When I file something in a good place, then find out it’s not there. 😦 I swear I have fairies that steal all my paperwork and things. 🙂 lol What do they say, the mind is the first thing to go? 🙂

Eliminating the clutter!!!! 🙂 Gives me the warm fuzzies! Whether it be paperwork or things piling up in the corner. 🙂 I will NOT be a hoarder. lol

What gives you the warm fuzzies?

Gobble Till You Wobble

The first stage, fine marker. I saw this saying on good ole Pinterest. Love that site. I did mostly Halloween projects last year, it was fun to do these Thanksgiving ones. It seems Thanksgiving tends to be left alone. I love the holiday. I miss the big holiday dinners that we had when I was growing up. I know we will have those again one day, I do have four kids after all. Multiply that and it equals big family. Yay!

I added the watercolor pencils. I like this art type. I like acrylic paints but need more practice.

The final product. I love it. It looks good with the other wall decor I did today.

Turkey Dance

My dancing turkey art for Thanksgiving. I don’t have a lot of Thanksgiving art to hang, decided to make my own. This is the drawing with fine marker.

The next stage, coloring with watercolor pencils. I am still learning the technique and enjoy the outcome.

The stage of adding water. I think it turned out good. I’m getting better at applying the water. I use to add to much water and then it would run. Progress!

Last stage, added a fun saying. It is now on my wall, on to the next project. Happy Sunday!
