i got up a few times more. i couldnt stop laughing.the head injury makes me laugh and cry. i hate that.i have some medicine but dont want to take it all the time. i walked today without the cane. don stayed beside me. i think walking the pond and treadmill everyday really helps. as for the hand its slow but i can slowly empty it. i i cant completely lift it yet.you never realize how much you need both hands.who would have ever thought id become a lefty.but walking without the cane will help me do stuff with the left eventually.

Update on my step challenges. Some months I have done great and others I fall back. I can say it has helped my health a lot. I feel good and motivated. I’m not losing much weight, which sucks, but I am keeping it level.
I purchased a good scale a few months back that should be in line with the doctor’s scale. It is in our kitchen! LOL Perfect spot! Funny thing is it gives the difference in weight from each time someone steps on it. Too bad it doesn’t log each PERSON and then the difference but it is still fun. We give each other crap a lot when someone does their weight before the other. 🙂
I have a cheap normal scale in the bathroom and it is always about eight pounds off in the good direction of loss! Once in a while it is a great boost to the ego to step on it and see way lower. LOL
I have completed a few months! I have even improved on the ranking as well. It is a great way to keep the motivation going. 🙂
June I made all the step challenges along the way on time or before the deadline! First time. 🙂
Sadly, this month I got way behind. I say due to my part-time job. Good excuse. 🙂 I’m ready to make the August challenge!
Anyone else do step challenges? This one is Samsung and I have a Gear watch to go with it. Sometimes the watch doesn’t count the steps. Thinking that is when I need to clean the sensor on the watch. 🙂
Isn’t technology fun?!
I would really like a watch that does the correct measuring of the blood pressure. I know of only one that is working on it, Omron. Lot of the watches claim they do but it doesn’t track accurately. What I have found out you must have a cuff like thing on the watch for it to correctly measure. It is a bit pricey for me but I think it would be worth it. 🙂
Have a good day! 🙂
