“I love knowledge. Knowledge is good. Caves happen to be rather interesting to me. I wouldn’t have the courage to explore an unknown cave but one that has already is great. My goal is to explore a cave in each state. Bucket list you know.” I replied irritably crossing my arms over my chest. pg. 16

“I’m not real sure. I only began exploring it recently. I bought the cottage a month ago. I discovered the entrance when I tried to move the box and found it was bolted down. I removed the bolts and was surprised when the box came up without the bottom. I then had to pry the bottom part up, it was stuck by heavier bolts. I was shocked to see the tunnel and the first room. I decided to keep the box there until I could find out information on it. After all, someone went through a lot of trouble to hide that passageway. Who would have thought a box was hiding a secret place?” He chuckled, pg. 17

“My grandpa once said there were tunnels built under part of the town but thought they had been caved in.” “He will be surprised when I tell him they do exist.” I said pg. 18
“I have two older brothers that loved to treat me like one of them. They were always picking on me. I sometimes wondered if they forgot I was a girl. Most of my girlfriends lived out on farms until we were in Jr. High, so I had to play with the boys in the neighborhood. My grandmother was always complaining saying it didn’t look proper for me to hang with the boys, but there wasn’t anyone else. I would even save up my allowance to go buy Hot Wheels cars.” pg. 19
“Oh, my, look at that. I have never seen a more beautiful sight.” Mystery man exclaimed.
I peeked around him to see what he was looking at. Wow just like in the photography books. pg. 20
