I woke up to a bit of white fluffy snow. Not much though. I read one weather report about one inch and a half give or take. I guess it is winter time so it is to be expected. π
It is the bitter cold that I dislike. At least when I filled up my car, there was no wind so it didn’t feel as bad at 9 degrees out. LOL
I began the day watching a little Kitten Bowl on the Hallmark Channel. Love watching the cute little things. No, I don’t want anymore cats, two is enough. We did have three but one got out the door and never came home. Sure do miss him. π¦
Our Super Bowl food for the day was making burritos. I also made some nachos with all the fixings. Yummy. Hubby made the lunch after seeing I wasn’t ready to make them yet. LOL
Hmmm, maybe wait long enough someone else will make the meals. Why is it the mom always has to make the meals? The million dollar question. π
It was a lazy day of visiting with hubby before he had to go back to work. He didn’t get to come home until late yesterday afternoon. In fact, I had to pick him up forty miles away. He is a truck driver and ran out of hours. Since they have the new mandated electronic logs, it runs out you stop. He could fudge a bit but then the boss man will get upset so we don’t want that. Not as easy to fudge like the paper logs. Sucks a bit. Congress needs to butt out.
The middle son decided to watch the Super Bowl so I heard it but I was playing on my phone trying to ignore it. π
I’m not a fan. Once in a while I will catch the half time show but that is about it. I was glad he was interested though instead of playing his video games.
Part way through the Super Bowl I had to take hubby back to his truck. Glad the roads were clear. I hate driving on it. Or rather I hate other cars driving on it because most like to still speed. Ugh.
There I say goodbye for another five or ten days, one never knows for sure until the end of the week. I never thought he would pick this career after retiring from the military. He enjoys it other than the being away and missing out on family stuff.
Hopefully, only a year or two more. Crossing fingers. I need to win the lottery! πΒ He bought me two lottery tickets for my birthday that he gave to me. Ya, we are big spenders! π The thought that counts.
Do I have to share if I win since he bought them?Β π
I will think about that. π
